The Truth of the Bible

God led me to this verse today (you can feel free to comment or write me to ask how God communicates with me), and it is interesting because I have had a lot of well-meaning people challenge me on this very topic lately. I am a "baby" Christian as my father says and I have a lot of unanswered questions myself, however, I can attest that I have never known God until I truly surrended myself. And through that process has come enlightenment through the way of confirmation...

"The entirety of Your word is truth, And every one of Your righteous judgments endures forever."

NKJV Psa 119:160

I'm Baccckkk...

So, how can a writer permanently leave their art? It's impossible! I have abandoned creative writing and expression because I let life's priorities like work, going back to school, and interpersonal obligations take over. It's finally over. I know I need to write like I need to breathe. It may or may not be of relevance or interest to others, but that's why this is a blog and not a book for sale. You can leave at any time.

With that said: Given all that I have going on and my time constraints, I see this blog serving as a way to capture my favorite scriptures (at least until August 2010 when I graduate from my Master's program and have more time to expand my blog). Afterall, since the biggest priority of all is to have a personal relationship with God (I am a Christian), then at the least, I can make time for nurturing this relationship. One of the ways I am trying to do that is spending some time letting God talk to me through the bible. I have had a lot of resistance to pursuing this relationship with God and the more it comes at me, the more I need to fight. But I know I am not on my own with this, there is a spiritual battle that is taking place and is invisible to me. As long as I am steadfast and always go back to God, I know I will be OK.

My next move? I am going to post a bible scripture I want to save and refer back to... For anyone who stumbles across this page, welcome, and may God bless you and everyone you care about. I wish you a happy heart. ♥
